Time and Place + Diplomacy

Description

I have always liked the look of Vanguard's Default UI, but wanted some of the extra features a lot of other UIs here offer.

Not finding one that was entirely to my liking though, I decided to compile my own using whatever I thought would be useful additions to the Default UI, while still maintaining its original feel.

Little by little, this is what I came to.

Only that which differs from the Default UI is shown in the pictures here on the right. You can therefore assume that anything not shown here has indeed not been modified.

This UI has been tested on screen resolutions from 1024x768 to 2560x1600.

As an example, you will find a picture of one possible full-screen UI layout in the included Example of Layout.pdf file.

Note however that since the majority of this UI's windows are movable, it is up to you to place them according to what you feel most comfortable with!

For your convenience, I have included a step-by-step Setup Guide.

All credits have been given in the included Credits file.

Updated for the 14th January 2024 patch:

Updated my EncounterDisplay.xml in accordance with the Default UI's VGUIEncounterDisplay.xml update for Ferocity.

New to Vanguard

Like you, I too like the default UI in Vanguard which I was very surprised at myself, most of the times I dislike/hate the default UI's games come with. Vanguard's is actually pretty decent. All those additions you added are perfect! Exactly what I would want to see. So great!

However, since I am new to Vanguard and I am not afraid to install addons or custom interfaces I went looking to see what was available.

Since there are practically no new updates to custom UI's in several years except yours and 2-4 others (roughly) I had no choice but to confine myself to only looking at these. I have no clue if those really old ones from 2024-2010 even work anymore. It sure would be great if authors came back and just did post saying - "...still works with Vanguard 2024!"

Anyhow.. I want to use YOUR interface

but I can't help but drool over the hotbars/actionbars as seen in Rufins CoreUI and the quest log and abilities log as seen in Tbird Drox Compilation.

Would you consider meshing all three together? InfoMapAdvanced was updated recently too I guess.
