Default Core (Techy's version) - Spell Identification?

I usually play a tank. Recently I restarted very occaisionally playing my old Psi and I noticed that I have no GUI element to see when mobs are casting to get the identification info.

I get the "counter reactions" but I don't see even an "unidentifiable" spell being cast. Nothing.

Is this generally missing from Core or something I did? It's not on either of my 2 pc installs.

EDIT: Please respond if you DO see the Spell Identification / "Identified!" window info... since it could theorectically be one of the patches I installed from here on both pcs.

I see the spell id on my chars without any problems.

If you like I can provide you with an xml file to add to your UI which will show the spell icon and the name of the spell below when the mob is casting.

Edit: Found a screen shot of the stand alone spell id window I did.

That would be great - I'll PM you with my addy in case rather send that way.

Are you using COREUI and have to make a change or is it the thing Core should have but mine is hosed (didn't reinstall cos seems neither pc works so assume if it did work on core for me ever, its not a random bug its somethign I patched and would probably inadvertantly repatch hehe

If it's standalone that's great too - was just ALSO looking for confirmation from some caster using COREUI if they saw the IDs out of the box or had to mod/fix it?

I use kinked numerical HUD in Core.
This also includes a very nice spell identification, which doesn't only show the icon of the spell, but also the name of the spell attached (missing that in many other UI's/HUD's).

Tried it with Core kinked ui.
Nothing.

Could you perhaps give me the version (or link) to the COREUI you started from, then which if any patches you added to it.

I presume you added a few like 75 slots, details tab, etc.

I have to Reos my pc in bit so if I don't fix this before then, I'll try to emulate your install method.

Do you recall the name of the window where the info shows? is it in the hud itself? I've never seen a Screenshot of Core with spell being IDed so not sure what to look for.

Theodan hasn't had a chance to send anything or hasn't read this.
In case anyone mistook my "thanks for the xml" as I have a workaround - I still don't.

If someone has something like he mentioned that I can add real quick, please post, link or pm me (if need email - ask)

Lol - so nevermind! he sent it this morning at 9am

(will try it)

Still trying to find out what is wrong with MY core but a reinstall one patch at time should find that issue.
