Timer for Spells

Hi, it was stated in the FAQ that it's not possible to make debuff timers.

But I think it should be possible to create a simple independent timer which is started by macro like eg:

/cast "Snare"
/starttimer 32

"starttimer" should be a xml-mod which simply count down from 32 to zero

Is that possible and how?

I don't think even this method of making a timer is possible. The problem is that we don't control the xml schema, we can only ask the SOE devs that visit this site to add certain elements, and they have chosen to not add a timer element that we can manipulate yet.

Hm ... what is with the ingame clock, can it display seconds?
(I think about modifying the ingame clock as timer)

the in game clock is just text fed to the UI by the server.
