Sounds like that would work also. I am just.. I dont know what to say any more about the RTM. But those that were following the thread over at the soe forums at the beginning know how i feel.

Thinking about it.. you might be right Craeat, might be the easiest way of handling it.. with out getting our hands "too dirty" in the process. (least that is how i feel about it.)

Peace,
Sarrene'

I'm not even going that far. I don't want to show ANY support for this feature on the principle of the matter.

But anyone who does condone this feature can go ahead and add the proper line into the index themselves.

Hmm well I didn't do anything about adding it in the latest version of InfoMap. If people ask for it, I can always put it in as an option that can be enabled in the customizer program.

The equivalent for other mods would be to put the line in the index file, but commented out. So it's there if people want to enable it.

There's nothing wrong with modding the UI to remove windows, we do it already, only we usually put something else in instead. In this case though the reason is to remove temptation for those players who don't want to be tempted.

I think default settings for any mod should be what's appropriate for the majority of the playerbase. And since the vast majority who have spoken up on the subject of RMT have said they don't want it, then the default option for this window should be to have it disabled, wouldn't you agree?

I think I can live with that.

Nothing wrong with standing on principle. It applies to these authors as much as it does anywhere else.
