the pet bar is fine as it is in core. it might be nice to split each button into it own window so that we could remove the buttons we don't use. All I need is guard, follow, stay and maybe attack. I Macro other fucntions.
The Minion window is annoyingly large. Divorce the minion command buttons from the life/time remaining window. I would turn the minion command buttons off if I could. All the minion window really needs is the minion name and the time remaining. I would prefer time remaining be a % rather than a bar. Minion hitpoints are, for a necro at least, irrelavent.
Whatever tho, the minion window needs to be smaller.

one other idea..
healer/buff hotbar for the raid groups. resizable just like the current group heal/buff hotbar.
I thought I had seen someone mention changing the raid groups, mking then automactically pop up when invited to a raid etc. The ok so long as each raid group can still be independently positioned.

After the druid revamp (and with a little help from Nadger) I made some changes to the CorePet.xml. I split the minion commands and minion status bars into 2 separate windows, so that the controls could be positioned near the rest of my hotkeys and the larger status window could be put elsewhere. Then I shrank the windows as far as possible.
I'm struggling to remember what else I did without examining the xml again. I think I also changed the appearance of the controls to match other parts of Core, and I may have rearranged some of the minion control buttons. I might have tweaked the pet window slightly too.
Anyway the attached file is what I'm using for my CorePet.xml, see what you think. It might at least give you a starting point.

I am curious how you make your minions attack if you removed the command buttons?
I will look at adding a percent for the time remaining but I think Nadger and I looked at that before and the variable wasn't there for display. If it is I will look at putting it on top or next to the bar but I think I am going to leave the bar in for those who want it.

Yes, I changed the raid groups to automatically appear when you are invited. Each of the raid group windows can be independently positioned in layout mode.

Thanks Soresha. I will take a look at the changes and incorporate some/all the changes into CoreUI3.

I use a Macro.
/minion backoff
/pet backoff
/minion attack
/pet attack
The reason I say split the bar and command into different window is not every will use a macro.

The bar is fine I guess so long as its not taking up too much space.
Is it not possible to use the gamevar that renders the bar to display a percent instead?
In any case, the default minion window is to large. Shrinking it would be my main request.

I have posted the new version. Some of the things I wanted to put in just aren't possible with the restrictions of the ui xml.
Download it at http://www.vginterface.com/downloads...ompatible.html
and let me know how you like it.

Something is odd with the browser. It worked the first time, then I chunked and tried it again, and it only shows me a grey background. Can open the links, and I see it loading pages, but nothing but grey in my window.
VG bug I assume?

Yep VG bug, I did some testing on this myself. If the browser window stops working, just use /reloadui and that will fix it.

I talked to a GM and they recommended do a /flush to fix it. I have found that a complete reload of the ui doesn't always fix it. Also, a /flush is much faster then a complete reload.
I have also noticed that sometimes the avatar testing code gets turned on which adds a bar to the bottom of the browser. I am making bug fixes as I find them and will release a new updated version once I get more feedback. I will add a button to the browser next to bookmarks called "fix browser", or something similar, that will do a /flush.
I am also debating changing my "web browser" button from the current 'click to open browser and go to homepage' to a simple window toggle. The disadvantage of the window toggle is that the first time you use the browser nothing will load and you will have to press the "home" icon.
Let me know what you all think.

Thanks for updating the mod Techy.
If I could ask for anything it would be:
Currently under the CoreUI settings you can "toggle" the stance-changing hot bar in the options. Unfortunately, every time you log in you have to go into the settings and toggle it on in order for it to work. Any way to have it remember what it's toggled to without having to set it every time you log on?
Also, any way for us to set which bars are used by which stance? It currently seems to just pick randomly.
Sorry in advance if this was already asked or addressed.

Reason: Realised you already implemented one of my requests :p
