Default CoreUI3 new version....

I am working on a new version of CoreUI3 and would like to hear what you would like in it.

Here is what I have completed so far:
  • GU5 compatible
  • minor tweaks to the quest log to reduce font size
  • quest tracker is only sizable and movable in layout mode
  • VGBrowser
  • raid group windows now appear when you join a raid automaticaly and can only be move in layout mode.
  • removed raid group checkboxes
  • Kinked HUD target's target is larger
  • mini raid control panel
  • smaller minion control window

I would like to see the quest tracker scrollable and see either scrollable buffs or 2 rows of buffs.
Also maybe better pet and minion windows that work for all character types.

-Add the Crafting Inventory bag and the Diplo Bag to the bag bar.
-Add a bar with the ground mount and flying mount(so we do not have to take up hotbar space)
-Add something similar to this to your mod: Clock/Moon/Sun Dial
-Maybe have an XP attached to the PlayerStatus similar to this one: XP Bar
-Have changing room icons like the one here: Changing Room

The new quest tracker is scrollable (by default now)

As far as I know, and have been able to do, the ability lists aren't able to be scrolled. If anyone has seen a UI that has them scrollable let me know and I will see how they did it but I haven't been able to do it.

I am not sure what you want for the pet and minion windows but there isn't a lot that can be done with them. If you let me know specificly what complaints you have maybe I can figure something out but I know the trouble I have run into a lot with them is simple limitations on SOEs end.

The first two items are both part of info panel which is in CoreUI. Simply turn them on in the settings menu.

The time and compass don't fit the theme of CoreUI and if I remember correctly they have a rather large memory impact.

I am not sure what you meen by the xp bar attached to the player status. Can you explain?

The changing room is also part of info panel. See above.

What he means is look at the screenshots for the linked UI. The XP bar is connected to the player status window instead of being free floating.

The pet window is movable, but at least in core the minion windows can not be moved. It would be nice to see just one window that incorporates pets and minions that is movable.

The minion window is movable if you have a minion up and go into layout mode. The problem with creating a unified pet window is that some classes can have multiple minions and they have seperate controls so if you combine them into the same window you have to have a expanding up and expanding down option.

Part of the concept of Core is that it is modular and small. When you start combining too many windows together it gives people less options for their layouts.

One thing about the pet window that I don't like is that tiny default pet hp bar. I was thinking about maybe making the bar larger and placing it either just above or just below the abomination graft window. I have a feeling tho that the entire graft window is hidden when a non abomination is the available pet.

I am pretty happy with the changes I have made at this point and I have a couple of tweaks that I want to get done before releasing it. I am sure that I will be working on another version after this but I am keeping the spirit of Core so it will continue to be a lean modular customizable UI.
