However, I should post up here more often when I do an update.. even a small one like that! Thank you for reminding me on that.

Thanks for the quick reply. For the update, do I replace all files? Meaning, just download the zip, unzip it, and install it like a fresh install? Or are there only some specific files to replace? Are my settings and such (window placement, etc.) saved in a different place that won't be overwritten?

Nope, nothing complicated at all. When you get the file downloaded, just replace the whole thing. The main files you need to replace are the Map folder and Windows.
Though it is easer to just replace all of them.. when you unzip the file, you can do it two ways.
1) unzip the file to your documets (or where you have your files downloaded to) Then copy the Darker2.0 folder and paist it in \Sony\Vanguard\VGUIAssets\Shells
2) or (unzip as you did above) just copy the two folders you need to update: Map and Windows into \Sony\Vanguard\VGUIAssets\Shells\Darker2.0
No, your layout will not change. (Least it should not) Your UI layouts for in game are stored in Sony\Vanguard\bin as a txt file.
I hope that helps.
Peace,

Hey. Sorry to bother you again, but...
Well, I did what ya said, and everthing seemed to go alright. But for the new InfoMap, the Tanvu rift is not showing up on my map. I get all the new features of InfoMap 1.5, but not the rift. I tried downloading and installing InfoMap 1.5 directly (unzipping the file, and copying the map folder over the map folder in the Darker2.0 file), but that didn't work either. It's very strange in that all the other features work fine except for the rift.
It wouldn't really be much of a problem except for the fact that I'm trying to level up some of my Crafters and the continental style NPC is located in Tanvu. Without the rift, it makes for an awful lot of running back and forth.

It is not a problem at all. I wonder why its not working.. ah well, I will check on that and upload the full version again just in case...
However, you can go ahead and download this file and drop it in the following folder:
Sony\Vanguard\VGUIAssets\Shells\Darker2.0\Windows
When it asks if you want to over write it (replace it) say yes.
Let me know how that works.
Peace,
Sarrene'

That did the trick. Thanks. One other thing. I've noticed now that the offensive target box (the one with the mob name, level, dot, and hp) is gone. And I can't seem to find the option to turn it back on. I've solved the problem of at least knowing a mobs hit points by turning on one of the custome HUDs, but the one I'm using doesn't list the mob's level or con. Don't really know how this happened. Anyway, thanks for your help. I love Darker2.0. I've currently been playing on a 15 inch screen (my 19 inch broke a couple weeks back and is getting repaired...slowly) and the small icons of Darker2.0 are a lifesaver.

That's weird, as I'm still having the issue of not being able to get my offensive target box to stay saved as OFF. I can turn it off, but every time I log in, it continues to pop back up. Hehe.
No big deal for me, but I can see how it would be quite difficult to live without the offensive box if you did not want to use a HUD. (As a hint to help, until this is fixed for you: there is also a way to see dot-con through the custom boxes, I can't recall which tab it's under, off hand)

You can turn Mob Level and Con on seperately.
For level go to the HUD/Panels tab and turn on Level Hud.
For Con go to the Windows tab and turn on either Con Number or Con Dots.
The Offensive Target window hasn't worked for me with Darker 2.0 since GU4 but I've got so used to using the HUD it doesn't bother me any more.
I've tried Sarrene's suggestions and re-downloading but to no avail.
Anyway, great UI Sarrene, easily my fave so far

For those that are missing the Offensive Target window (not one of the huds) generaly that is caused from the window being moved over and off the screen. I am not sure why this happens, but I have heard of it happening when people switch from one ui to another.
I have a test layout above in one of the posts, but I will add it back in here. Download it (unzip it first) and save it to your Sony\Vanguard\bin
Then in game type in /uiload test It should be moved in the middle lower hand side for you.
As far as the offensive target window not staying away when you dont want it.. okay, I am perplexed there still. I have adjusted the windows, and for my systems they all work as are saved. Hehe.. kind of ironic since a few here cannot find it! Im sorry about that. I will keep looking into it and keep listening to anyone that has some ideas on why.
I have been a bit busy the last few weeks, so I have not had a chance to add back in the smaller bags, and the extra bag windows. But I have not forgotten that yet. Do not fear!
One other thing I noticed myself, was that I did not reset the pet hotbar. It is a bit messed up, so once I get a chance I will go ahead and fix that for everyone. I am surprised noone said anything about that yet.
Peace and good luck!

It works Sarrene. I need to redo my layout, but it works!
I tried to get it to work in my layout, and it did until i logged back out!
Here's what I did:
- backed up my UI using the Backup UI option in Darker Settings About tab
- used /uiload test - Off Target was displayed!
- then used the Load Backup option and the Off Target was back - in the top right corner!
- repositioned the Off Target window to my preferred spot and used Backup UI
- restarted VG to test and the Off Target has gone again!
Not a biggie, as your /uiload test works and I can just redo my layout, but any ideas why it's not saving it when I get it back?

When you restart VG are you logging out or exiting the game? If you just exit the game settings will not save. You have to click the log out or do a /camp for the settings/UI to save.
