Yes repeat questions that can be found under known issues and the FAQ i think i'll be forced to ignore from now on. Sometimes I feel like I shouldnt take the time to answer some of these when the poster obviously didnt take the time to read the FAQ and Known Issues. But at the same time I dont want to look like an ass hole hehe.
I'll do it for ya Nadger

So far I've not encountered any problems except my encounter window will only show one mob at a time. That may be a setting in the game that I need to find, however. I'm still looking into it.Two friends of mine don't have the problem and one did.

Meh, extremely satisfied on all fronts tho

Woot

/bug well a semi bug more a placement issue. in the crafting window (which is the best thing since sliced bread) when you complete a crafting action the poor, great, excellent flashes behind the icons.

/bug may be intentional or unavoidable but when you are crafting and leave the cursor over a crafting action/step it seems to flash. first i thought nothign of it but i did notice a dip in FPS. associated? I am certainly not the authority.

Rest of the UI is awesome bud. One question tho, what do you use the HUD hotbar for?

I had the same problem... it turned out the list was hidden behind my chat window.
Make sure you're not looking in the HUD itself. It's another list that should pop up on the side. In layout mode it's called "Encounter Display"

Core doesn't include your current target in the encounter list for performance reasons

1.
There is a bug with the buffs-window. We were a full group of 50's, doing a cryptrun. 4/6 were playing with the new coreui3 rc1. Each of the new ui-users got huge lags if he got more than 5-6 buffs. There was a freeze every 3s for 1s. While this happens, buff-window was flickering a little bit. Ah, and the icons+fonts are a little bit too big at 1920x1200.

2.
Another question, is there a way, to get bigger healthbars at the groupwindow? Our healers are not really blind, but the had problems to recognize, when a heal was needed.

3.
I miss the little Stats-windows for STR/DEX/STA/VIT/WIS/INT really, they are are good for fast checks while a fight, if all works right, right armor weared and so on. Can you pu them in as an option?

4.
Can you put in a target spells window which expands up? Or make it useable in the offline control tool? With 15+ spells on a target it gets a really big window, expanding down, what you have to place at the top of the screen and so have a far "eye-way" to the hud if you solo and only 2-5 spells are there.

Good Job Nadger

I really like the UI Nadger and was using the beta 3 one. For some reason though I didn't have a mail icon when I upgraded. I saw you mentioned a place to turn that icon on and off but couldn't find it either. Really nice work overall.

(edit: this post is seperated into different replies, as I can only include 4 images per post)

After testing CoreUI 3 last evening for my entire play-session, I have the following comments/requests/bugs.

1) Many of the Icons/bars/fonts are too large. At least, too large @ 1400x900. This means that my screen is so full, there isn't much space left to actually see the game.

What really is needed is a toggle (offline options?) to change the:
1) (Main) Hotbar Sizes
2) Change the sizes of the other Icons (like bagpack etc)
3) Change the sizes of the fonts used (PvP info, Quest Log, etc).

To illustrate, 1st a Screenshot with the UI I was using (AssimX):

As you can see, there is quite a lot of visible space left.

Now a pic of the same kind of setup, using CoreUI 3:

I think it is obvious this leave a lot less visible size, due to the larger sizes of Hotbars, fonts, etc.

For example, in AssimX I could place 3 Hotbars next to each other, and have quite a lot of (horizontal) space left, in CoreUI, 2 almost take the whole screen.

Pic of AssimX hotbar, below that, pic of CoreUI 3 hotbar:

I think the difference is obvious.

Suggestion/request: Toggle for smaller hotbars, possible with option to make them transparant (which the ones in AssimX are, but you cant see it right now, because all slots are filled), and an option to turn borders on or off (in AssimX there are no borders).

Pet bars:
1st pic AssimX, 2nd Pic CoreUI:

Again, it's obvious the Petbars in CoreUI are large, very large.
I noticed in CoreUI you can seperately move the Commands, Attacks & Health Bar. I'm a fan of configuring my own things, but I didn't really see a need for this. But main problem is Size. Also Pet name doesn't seem to be displayed in CoreUI. Request: Smaller :-)

Bagpack Icons:
Option to choose smaller Icons for this would be nice.

Clock:
Option to have a 24 hour clock (as is used in most of the world).
Option to toggle off Telon Time (I have no need for it). So possibly seperating Normal & Telon Time from each other.

Guild status:
Now it shows total number of members online, nice change would be to display xx/yy. Where XX is members online, YY is total number of guild members.

PvP Info:

Left is CoreUI, right side a modifief version from DuskUI in incorporated into AssimX.
The Font in CoreUI is too large IMO, making it smaller would be appreciated. Also, you can put the guildname after the player name, this will safe vertical space.

Buff icons:

Vertical is CoreUI, Horizontal is AssimX.

Requests: make a toggle to have Horizontal Buff icons (I didn't see this option in CoreUI). Suggestion: Remove the "m", I think it is clear to most people that the numbers represent minutes (and yes, you won't be able to see difference between a buff which lasts seconds or minutes, but to be honest, I have not misses this in AssimX).

Loot info:
Right now, all the text is on seperate lines, taking 3 lines total. Make a toggle to have this option in 1 horizontal line.

Defensive Target:

Left side is CoreUI, right AssimX.

I prefer to have my Defensive target directly under my own Bar (as in AssimX). In CoreUI, I *can* position my Defensive Target, BUT, because the Group Member bars ALWAYS get positioned directly under you own bar, I cannot place the defensive bar there. Well, I could place it there, but as soon as you would be in a group, the Group Member bars would be place over your Defensive bar.

Suggestion/request: 'unlink' the Groupmember bars from your own Bars. That way you can position all the bars individually (Self, Group Members, Defensive Target).

Casting bar:

Well, the thing is HUGE :-)) Suggestions:
1) Smaller.
2) Remove the fancy sides, just make it a 'norma' square bar.
3) It uses 2 lines, because you also see the ms on top of it.
Possibly remove the ms altogether (I don't see much need for it), otherwise put the ms inside the bar itself (but this might give a problem with the name), put it on the right or left side.

Oh, and in Layout mode, you can't move the bar, except when you are casting a spell. I understand why, because when you aren't casting, there is no bar. But it would be nice to position the bar, without having to do it while casting a spell :-)

Chat tabs:
I can't seem to remove the tab called Craft, and possibly others (have not tested with others). I'm no crafter, so I wanted to remove the tab, but can't. Not sure if this is a bug or intentional.

XP bar:

It always shows a a background. Doesn't look too good. Suggestion: make the whole (100%) bar visible, and let it fill while you play.
Next to that, the 26% Rested in this case, well, is wrong. At least, I assume it means that I have 26% of a level which is rested XP, when I logged in I am sure I had no rested XP, and next to that, during my playsession, my Rested XP actually became more, while it should become less (I was XPing outside an outpost).

HUD:

Top one is a modded version from Kinked from CoreUI 2.
The below on is the new HUD.

To be honest, I really dislike the new HUD. A number of comments:

1) It takes in WAY too much space. Partly because for some unknown reason to me, the bars do not go horizontally, but go in a S shape.
2) The S-shape actually makes it LESS visible, ie, harder (less clear) to see Hps and such..

Suggestions:
1) Smaller
2) 2 Horizontal Bars, as in Kinked
3) Make them 'sqaure' Bars, so no fancy graphics or Curved Shapes. The HUD is there to quickly make all important things visible, it is not there as eye-candy.
4) IMO the Kinked HUD as I configured it, is perfect, the only thing I would change is, make the ends of the bars not with curves, but just squares.

One nice change is that besides seeing the % in the new HUD, you also see the raw numbers.

Groupcast:

Talking about the Cast Icon (a heal in this case) + the status text.
It is over the HP bars etc of the group member.

I have never needed to see the spells somebody is casting, so I would suggest removing it altogether (or of course a toggle ;-)
If you want to keep it, I would suggest:
1) Make the Casting Icon smaller, and put the Icon to the Right side of the Group member. And perphaps change the Success text font smaller, or remove the status altogether.

You Have Died Window:
When you die, you get the window asking you to release (to altar / bind).
This window can't be moved. Not sure if this is possible in other UIs, but it's just something I noticed.

Base/Item/Buff Stats bugged:
I noticed these numbers sometimes are bugged, sometimes correct.

The left one is wrong in the case of Strength, the right one all is correct.
