Just took a quick look before bed. It looks great. only thing I noticed is none of the resource layers show on my mini map. works fine on main map tho.

**Edit**

Well looks like it's not working for my mini map. the layer buttons on the main map work for the main map. The layer button on the UI work for the main map too. I see no layer buttons on the mini map. I'm using Drox UI 2.2.0. The wife has the same problem also.

Try clicking the buttons on the mini menu bar. If they do not show up after doing that then there is a problem.

I have had no issue with the resource location apearing on either map.

Please can you check again? Try selecting different locations for your current quests. If you're really not getting red and green icons, the first thing we need to know is if you're using the default Vanguard UI or a player-made UI (which UI? and what version?). Then maybe Xndyr or Nadger might be able to find the answer, or if it's a player-made UI maybe the author can help you.

Hmmm.

After removing my custom POI list i think i know what is going on.

The two screenshots below show it. If you look at the green/red POI just above the location arrow. When its green, its on top of the other POIs at that location, when it is red it is drawn underneath the others.

So, when you have a load of POI's in the same location the red one can be completely lost. The green ones seem fine it is just a problem with the red ones.

When i was testing before I was just looking for the red one and the character i was using was in a busy area with lots of custom POIs. i guess that is why it didnt seem to be working at all.

Ok I need to restate something from the original post to make it clearer. This isn't aimed specifically at you Sinah. I've had to do this on the VGPlayers thread as well, seems quite a few people have missed it:

If you use DroxUI, you MUST upgrade to DroxUI v2.2.1 before installing either of the new InfoMap mods

Previous versions of DroxUI aren't compatible with the map standards. We had a word with Drox and he was happy to amend the directory structure so you guys can easily drop InfoMap Advanced into DroxUI, but you've got to upgrade to v2.2.1 first.

Start from scratch, and it will all work just fine. Copied from my VGPlayers post:

1) Delete the entire DroxUI directory at:
C:\Program Files\Sony\Vanguard\VGUIAssets\Shells\DroxUI

2) Download a fresh copy of DroxUI v2.2.1, install that back into the Shells directory.

3) Delete the entire Map directory at:
C:\Program Files\Sony\Vanguard\VGUIAssets\Shells\DroxUI\Map

4) Download a fresh copy of InfoMap Advanced.

5) Copy the entire Map directory from the InfoMap download into the place where you deleted Drox's Map directory, at:
C:\Program Files\Sony\Vanguard\VGUIAssets\Shells\DroxUI\Map

The directory structure ends up looking just the same, only the content below the Map directory is different. You shouldn't have the InfoMapAdvanced directory in there, nor should you do anything with the Index.xml and SkinInfo.xml files that come with the InfoMap download - they're only for the stand-alone use.

Ah yes, I saw this myself last night too. I don't believe there's anything we can do about it though, I doubt we can control the order in which the game draws the different markers - unless anyone knows otherwise...?

I used to use the Cobal maps.

I downloaded the Infomap and installed - everything OK except that the maps now appear like the default (albeit with overlays). I assume the Cobal map graphics are being used so is there some part of the installation procedure I missed?

Yep, I'd say some part of your installation has gone wrong somewhere.
First question as always: are you using stand-alone in the default Vanguard UI, or another player-made UI mod?

Guessing that you're stand-alone:

Did you copy the entire InfoMapAdvanced directory into the Shells directory? Otheriwse it could just be something silly, however the best advise is always to start again from scratch and have another go.

1) Delete all the mod stuff out of your Shells directory (in your case probably Map and InfoMapAdvanced directories).

2) Get a fresh download of InfoMapAdvanced.

3) Try again.

After upgrading to Drox 2.2.1, and, installing Advanced InfoMap, group loot options does NOT work. So, I had to revert to Drox 2.2.0. I haven't tried InfoMap, but, I'm assuming it won't work.

Anyone else experience this also?

Thanks,

Thanks for the reminder Soresha I remember reading about needing to upgrade to Drox 2.2.1 but in my sleepy brain dead stats it didn't register hehe. Everything seems to be working fine now.

One suggestion tho if I may for next release or update. Can the map be made scrollable so we can scroll around without needing to zoon it out and suarch for potential places.

Nice work ya'll. Kudo's.
