I just uploaded a new version the the UI that is U3 Compliant.

Please let me know if you find any issue so that I can research what may be the problem.

ManicUI at this time does not support all the changes that were made in U3 to the Vangaurd UI.

Mother just release a new version of her crafting window that is U3 compatible. All you need to do is download her update and replace the files in the ui with the ones she provides.

Once I am able to spend the time to review all the changes I will release an updated version with Mothers updated UI and any other tweaks that many be nessisary.

I loved the UI i had it arranged just perfect for me. But when SOE did the patch on 10/16/07, the first patch for update 3, I can no longer craft with that UI. For some reason its not giving me the choices for the steps and it will not give the icons to get rid of the complications all of the time so I'm having trouble crafting now with the UI.

Hey, got a fresh installment of vanguard and wanted to try out ur UI. Done xactly as instructed, but when i load the game it crashes. Only when i change shellname back to "default" it works normally :O I don't use any other mods atm.

Any experience and/or solution to this?

I am glad you like the UI and finally got things configured to you liking.

One thing you can do if you do not like the smaller buff window or the target displays is edit the index.xml and use the orginal versions from the default UI.

I tried to use the default files as much as possible and just reduce the visual size of the graphics.

If you want to try this, just send me a PM with the items you want to revert and I can tell you the lines to edit.

Again thank you to trying things out. I am still working on the UI and try to take all the ideas I am given and put them in to place.

sorry for jumpping the gun on the hot bars and TY for showing me the way. this is so far the best UI for vangard for non healer classes i have seen. only thing i dislike is how small buffs and the taget wendow show up cant read level and timers on the 1440X900 will for me at least lol.

this is just a sugestion i like were all the hot bars are at like to see one that transparent (lol did i spell that right) that i could put 5 or 6 spells in for up top.

Hi there. Sad to say this, but Vanguard crashes when I try to load your UI. I even tried with a default vgclient.ini and only changing the Shellname. Always crashes when I try to log in.

All hot bars can be turned on and off, except for the main bar, in the custom settings for the UI.

On the main menu, there is a button for the games settings and a seperate button for the UI settings. In this you will find buttons to turn on an off various peices of the UI

I just updated the UI with a fix for the darkspells small bags ui mod that should resolve the decomp issue.

I have a few guildies who love your UI but they are unable to decomp items while using it so they have switched back to default UI.

Figured I would post and let you know.

I will take a look and see what I can find. I personally do not have a Dread Knight so I do not know what the DC item is.

I will do some looking around to see what I can find.

Only one issue for me. I cannot for the life of me find the little icon that tells me how much DC I have built up as a Dread Knight.

It resets with every mob and is a pretty important tool. Any help is appreciated.

I tricked VG now so its saved.

I Made all my settings, saved all with your ui and with /uiload xxx.xml and after all this i Killed vanguard by Strg+Alt+Entf.
After logging in again all was still there hehe

That is not the perfect solution but it is a solution for now, i also posted this in the forum and made a petition. So ill just wait for the next Patch, maybe enough have that problem so they fix that somehow!

I am not sure where the Chat window settings are saved, but I know there is options for each tab you create.

The problem you are having sounds like it will be there no matter the UI you use.

I suggest looking at the chat options for each tab and also posting in the forums to see if anyone else has ideas on what to try.
