Tbird Drox UI is fully compatible with the store. I personally have made purchases with this UI that required the default UI, and it worked fine. This is just a disclaimer Sony has in case the custom UI has not been updated. I have also had no one complain that a purchase did not work to date.

You should have no reason to go back to the default UI.

Good catch on the presence mini window, I have been meaning to do that for some time and keep forgetting.

I am also playing with a real setup program that does nearly all the installation steps, to date most of the problems I see with people and custom UI's is setting them up. Usually the folders are not setup right.

also, is there a fix for marketplace items that require default interface to use ? i have to switch to default to use unlocking items, its a bit annoying to switch UI's each time.

Can you change the default presence mini-window to default off? you have to open the strategy deck just to turn it off.

changing UI to default and back cleared out the g15 slots i had assigned.

but the good news is, the second short buff window is gone...

Short Buffs should turn off, it is tied to the regular buffs window. Buffs of a shorter duration appear here. In game you can control this duration in the regular settings under interface.

If it is not turning off with the regular buff windows let me know which type in the setup it is, and I will look into it.

As for the error, that error message occurs even in the default UI last I checked, I will look into it.

Tbird Short Buffs Icon Scroll window has not turn off and mouse over shows an error :

Would like to see that stat window have a turn off too.

Try using the User.ini file in the TBird Drox UI zip. First make a backup of your user.ini file in <Vangaurd Main Dir>\bin and copy the one from the zip file there.

All good TBird re the button sizes. I completely re-installed everything.

Curious detail is that now the G15 keys don't show and they are not in the standard settings panel so I can't alter the keybinds.

Secondly the Numpad won't trigger anything. Tried changing that in the regular settings panel but no joy.

Bit of a head-scratcher. Any thoughts?

Spike, I just tested in all three sizes and the hotbars 3x4 especially seem to all be changing the way they should.

What version of TBird are you running? If you go to the TBird Drox setup and click on the About menu option it will tell you. And/Or try reinstalling version 2.2.

Spike - Not sure what you mean resize it. Are trying to make it bigger like the chat box with the mouse to see more slots? Or make it physically bigger?


It seems to be stuck on the smaller of the button sizes (I am running at the max resolution in settings if that makes any difference). Won't reset to the default size.

Any idea Mr TBird?

Nanoo - If you have a finisher that requires another finisher, it will not appear on the hot bar but it is there kind of behind the prerequisite finisher. So when the prerequisite is used, the next in the chain will appear. If that is not the case let me know.

I do not think there is a limit to the number of abilities but I will look into it. Considering the Drox UI has been around for years, I am sure some high level would have seen it by now.

Yes it would be possible to code the reaction bar to be broken up by counter attacks, and so forth. Let me look into coding that.

First, thanks for taking the time to update this and develop that nice installer. It was the perfect solution for some of my toons. I have a question regarding the reaction chain bar. I noticed upon hitting level 20 that my bard and disciples new reactions did not update the bar. The bard is a new ability that is requires another finishing attack to complete before it can be activated called "Lightning Kisses the Ground I". The disciple is an updated ability, although it has a new name, called "Grasp of Discord I" which would replace "Touch of Discord II" [which is on the reaction bar]. Does the hotkey bar have a limit to the number of finishing attack buttons? Also, is there an option to make the bar split into finishing, counterattack/spell and rescues??? Thanks!

First of all a big thanks for the work getting this running so well. A great collection of extremely useful tools to improve my Vanguard experience.

The only glitch I have hit is that I can't seem to re-size the 3x4 hotbar groups, they don't respond to the programmer in shifting size.

Is there a way of tackling this in the XML files?

Fixed, a patch should show in the downloads shortly.

As for Store, it is now a small SC icon instead of the big bag, in layout 6 it is near the compass. It could also be hidden behind something. Go in layout and move some things around.

Maybe I should make that an option, for those that want to keep the standard icon.

Let me know if you still cannot find it.

The main inventory bag is too small (the large version), it cuts off the lower row of slots.

Also i seem to have lost my marketplace icon, any ideas?

I found a layout that let me see the open bags, so now everything works.
I'm glad that was a really easy 'fix'!
(I could have *sworn* I'd tried different layouts when I first encountered the issue, on top of everything else I tried- but that doesn't matter, because it works now!)
